Can I bring my family? If so, what is the cost?

You are welcome to bring your family. Adults all need to register as participants. If there is a financial issue, please contact us and we can talk about options. Children accompanying a parent do not need to be paid registrants, however we need to know they are coming for food and planning purposes. Please email us at 242conference@globalmethodist.org to let us know. There are no children’s programs or childcare available.

Can I come if I am not in ministry or seminary yet, but I am still considering ministry in the GMC?

Yes, you are more than welcome to register. This event is for young leaders in the GMC and those who are considering it. We would love to have you.

I am in seminary but I am unsure if I will serve in the GMC. Is this event open to me?

Yes! This would be a perfect opportunity to learn more about the DNA forming in the Global Methodist Church and to meet other young leaders in this denomination. We believe this could be a helpful experience to aid in your discernment about whether the GMC is where God is calling you to serve.

Are there scholarships for housing or travel?

We do not have specific scholarships set aside for this, however we do not want finances to prevent anyone from coming. If you want to be a part of this event but have financial challenges please email us at 242conference@globalmethodist.org and we will see if there is a way we can help.
